They need to bring back the hootchie cootchie show or whatever they were called. My papaw used to tell me about them
It was on the downslide for a while and when they moved it to June that just made it an absolute free fall.

The band is probably best-known for its songs "Down On Me", and "The Lumberjack," which features a chainsaw solo by lead singer Jesse James Dupree. Dupree would rev the chainsaw's engine or use the chain brake to slow the engine down to keep the beat. He would also perform this stunt live and the number would climax with Dupree slicing up a wooden stool onstage, smashing it, and throwing the sliced pieces out to the crowd. He once had been asked, "How the hell can you play a chainsaw?" to which he responded, "How the hell can you not play a chainsaw?"ok ok i know
Cant we all just get along?
When has that fair ever been good? The only thing that's really changed is a couple of rides, unless you're a child, it's really not fun at all...I haven't rode a ride there in years, I was probably 11/12. I go there to socialize, that's it, there's nothing there. When it changed to June, it didn't really make a difference IMO. Sucked in August, sucks in June. It's about as bad as Russell Co. fair, okay place to take your kid, but that's it.
well, I guess it is really driven for the kids anyway. the adults are just along for the ride and to see the kids have a good time. if you don't have kids you really can't understand how watching your kids light up is priceless.
